Cape Cod Evening 3by =Lhuin

Part 3 of a project for uni, based on an existing painting. The task was to find a painting, think of a narrative for it and paint two more pieces around the picture. Like what would happen before/after the picture or what's happening outside of the frames.

The original painting is Cape Cod Evening by Edward Hopper [link] , I immediately thought there's something going on, something that only the dog has noticed. Animals normally notice abnormal things way before humans in any case. I liked how the two people in the picture are looking at the dog, but the dog has clearly noticed something else : D

Painted in photoshop, sort of mimicking a traditional painterly style. Might edit/clean this a bit later, but don't want to make it too "detailed" kinda.
