Part 2 of a project for uni (part 1 being the original painting), based on an existing painting. The task was to find a painting, think of a narrative for it and paint two more pieces around the picture. Like what would happen before/after the picture or what's happening outside of the frames.

The original painting is Cape Cod Evening by Edward Hopper [link] , I immediately thought there's something going on, something that only the dog has noticed. Animals normally notice abnormal things way before humans in any case. I liked how the two people in the picture are looking at the dog, but the dog has clearly noticed something else : D

I recognize the style of this! I can't recall the artist but -*reads full comment* Ah yes. very cool.That is what i thought. XD I was wondering why the lighting was odd but knowing that artist, it starts to make a lot more sense. :) Well done ^^
